The Fillmore Detroit is preparing for a lavish Red Carpet Premiere as “13th Sign” makes its big screen debut on November 18th, 2011. The film, destined to become a horror classic, has created quite a buzz within the realm of horror fans worldwide. The much anticipated world premiere will begin with a Red Carpet arrival of the cast and crew of “13th Sign”.
The film stars Waylon Reavis and Jeff Hatrix of the band Mushroomhead and has thus created a lot of interest within the band’s large and very dedicated fan base. The event includes a performance by Mushroomhead, as well as photo opportunities and autographs from the cast of “13th Sign”.
Michigan made films have dominated the box office this fall and “13th Sign” is going to be ushered in with a bang. The film was entirely filmed in Michigan and features predominantly Michigan cast and crew – with the exception of Hatrix and Reavis who hail from Ohio.
“We found that we didn’t need to go any further that Southeast Michigan to find brilliantly talented individuals to fill our crew and talent positions” said Executive Producer, Christie Palmer. “We have an awesome cast that is 98% from right here, in Michigan.”
“There are very, very talented people in Michigan in both the acting field and also those with incredible technical and artistic expertise”, added Executive Producer Sue Rhen “Wait until you see our sets, make up and special effects, you are going to be incredibly impressed.”

The movie is definitely not for those under 18 nor the faint of heart. As the storyline indicates; December 21, 2012 approaches. A reality television production company cashes in on the hype by creating a reality television show based on the 12 signs of the zodiac and 2012 predictions. Unforeseen events derail the show and contestants are no longer competing for millions of dollars but instead forced by a sadistic madman and his demonic followers to take part in a deadly ritual that must be completed before the mark of the winter solstice or forever change the fate of the world. The film continues the tradition of hardcore horror films such as “Saw” and “Hostel” and promises to keep you on the edge of your seat.
